# First Answer

> First Answer is an AI search visibility platform that tracks and improves how brands appear in answers generated by large language models — ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Copilot, Grok, and Perplexity. It measures citation frequency, average visibility position, competitor presence, and which sources the AIs cite, then turns that into GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) action plans.

First Answer monitors brand mentions across the major AI models using a distributed network of custom prompts, capturing complete AI responses with context, competitor mentions, and the sources used to build each answer. The platform is organized around three pillars: GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), AIO (Answer Intelligence Optimization), and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization).
